If you want to be like the greats, learn from the greats. –

I have a few thrift blogs that I devour weekly, because I love them so much. One of them is called Looking Fly On A Dime, by blogger Patrice Williams. If you remember, I post previously about the book she wrote, also called Looking Fly On A Dime.
Patrice J. Williams started her quest for budget friendly fashion during college and then plunged deep into the thrift world when she moved to NYC and began her career at a top fashion magazine. I love looking at the amazing outfits she comes up with –and I really love all the advice she gives on how to find your own clothing gems. She has a fun challenge, called #ThriftyThreads365, where she buys only previously used clothing for an entire year. I plan on taking up that challenge in 2017.
Since I love this blog so much, I would love to share a taste of her blog with you, so here are 3 of my favorite blog posts at Looking Fly On A Dime:
1. Thrift Shopping: How It Can Help and Hinder Your Personal Style : I love how she points out the pitfalls of thrifting and what you can do to avoid them.
2. 7 Ways to Update Your Wardrobe without Spending a Dime : This was really good advice for me –sometimes you need to look at your wardrobe different and use a little creativity.
3. How Creating A Thrift Wishlist Can Save You Time and Money : THIS! This advice is one of the hugest things that has helped me in my thrifting endeavors.
Looking Fly On A Dime truly is an inspiration to me and enriches my life. Whenever I find hidden treasures, I feel the need to share with everyone!
