I stumbled across Looking Fly On A Dime while looking for thrifting books on Amazon. I fell shamelessly, head over heels in love!
This is the best book I have read on thrift shopping. I love Patrice’s story about how she became a thrifting magician. The author is both relatable and gets to the point quickly, which makes for a good read.
The tips and strategies are simple and easy to implement, and a few caught me by surprise. Some of the tips include:
- How to maximize quick trips to the thrift store
- How to get the most out of in-depth thrift shopping
- How to avoid buyer’s remorse and build your wardrobe
- And even tips for sanitation 🙂
Looking Fly On A Dime is well worth its cost, and I’d recommend it for anyone who is wanting to polish up their thrift-shopping skills. 🙂
