Treasures of Sea and Earth Rock Shop in Bismarck!

Treasures of Sea and Earth Bismarck 4

There are two crystal shops in Bismarck and Treasures of Sea and Earth is my favorite! (The other shop, which is also good, is Crystal Rock Healing.)

Treasures of Sea and Earth is a fun, eclectic shop filled with all sorts of rocks, crystals, seashells and beads. They also have metaphysical books and tools. I feel welcome every time I come into the shop.

My favorite part of the shop is the little rock bin counter. It’s filled with rocks $5 and less, and I always find something new when I come in. It’s a great, affordable way to build up your rock/crystal collection.

They also have beautiful displays filled with their more valuable pieces.

If you are looking to build your rock collection, or just want to visit a fun shop, I definitely recommend Treasures of Sea and Earth!

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I wanted to pop in and share a few thoughts about this beautiful day and opportunity to be grateful for what we have.

(Today’s images come from Sage Goddess, a wellness and metaphysical online store.)

I love the above quote. It is so true that when we are grateful, we are present. It means that we’re no longer longing (or ashamed) of the past, and no longer coveting (or fearing) the future. We see what we have now, and we remember to enjoy it.

Also, when we give thanks, our abundance increases, just by noticing what we have. It is hard to feel rich and abundant when we focus on what we don’t have. When we focus on what we do have, our lives suddenly become more filled with joy and blessings.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe holiday! ❤️🦃❤️

Also, as a side note, Sage Goddess is having a Black Friday sale! Use the code EXCLUSIVE20 to get 20% off your order!

It’s Self Care Time With … Freeman Rose Gummy Bear Mask!

Freeman Melting Sugar Rose Gummy Bear Mask

I bought the Freeman Melting Sugar Rose Gummy Bear face mask, and couldn’t wait to try this one. So, I poured a nice hot bubble bath and applied my new face mask.

It didn’t have the scent I was expecting. I was hoping it would smell like candy, with a hint of rose. It didn’t smell sweet at all -it smelled like old fashioned soap.

That said, it felt good on my skin and left my skin feeling nice and soft afterwards. And for the price it wasn’t bad -three uses and only $1.32 at Walmart! I will probably buy again based on the results. 😊

This face mask was originally mentioned in my Walmart Haul blog post.

XOXO,

Dana Maye 💚

Life and Love… I Got A Dog!

I am so incredibly happy to have a new dog. His name is Copper, and he is a Vizsla purebred. We having been waiting for almost a year for this little guy to join our family, and he brings a lot of joy to our home.

He likes to take naps in the morning, play in the afternoon and snuggle in the evening. He can be a bit of handful at times, as he is a high energy breed, but he is so worth it. Potty training is going well, which is a plus!

He is 10 weeks old and currently 12 pounds. He will grow to be about 60 pounds, a medium size dog. But according to everyone I have spoken to, he will still consider himself a lap dog when fully grown! 😂 Vizslas are known for being “Velcro dogs” and little shadows, as they love constant attention, affection and interaction. They want to be with you and are great companions. I’m so grateful to have such a cuddly dog. 🐕🐾

Adding to My Makeup Routine… Fenty Beauty Brow MVP Pencil!

I decided to try a new step in my beauty routine -using a brow pencil! I went to Sephora, and a lovely associate helped me pick out a shade. We looked at several colors from different lines, and went with True Red from the Fenty Beauty Brow MVP line. It retails for $20 at Sephora.

I really like the product. The tip is nice and fine for penciling, and the formula is smooth and creamy. It blends well and looks very natural. I like the mini brush head on the other side. It helps smooth and blur the color.

The associate pointed toward a darker shade than I have worn in the past. While I’m not used to such a bold brow look, I think the shade matches perfectly. Below are two pictures – one inside and one outside, to show how my brows look in different lighting.

(Sorry about closing my eyes. It was bright outside!)

Overall, I am very pleased with my new brow pencil. I think it will look especially nice with bolder lipsticks.

If you are looking for a high quality brow pencil that comes in lots of shades, the Fenty Beauty Brow MVP is a great choice!

I Love …Bath and Body Works Peach Bellini Hand Soap!

One of my favorite things to do is stock up on hand soaps from Bath and Body Works, during the after Christmas sale. You can get them for $3 each, instead of the typical 6 for $24 sale price they offer.

I just finished my favorite soap, the Peach Bellini hand soap. It smells like the candy peach rings that I am addicted to. 🍑 I am so sad that it’s empty!!!!

Luckily it is still available! You can buy the Peach Bellini soap here!
